Building the Open Trust Layer
The visionaries and technologists building the open trust layer for the internet, empowering digital sovereignty for everyone.
Our Leadership
The team behind Hologram Messaging, building the first verifiable messaging layer for the Internet, where trust and ownership are built in by design.

Team Values
The principles that guide our mission to build a trustworthy and sovereign digital world.
Openness
We believe in open standards, open source, and transparency. Our protocols are public, auditable, and designed for interoperability.
Sovereignty
Individuals and organizations should maintain full control over their digital identities, data, and services without platform dependencies.
Innovation
We push the boundaries of cryptography, distributed systems, and decentralized networks to solve real-world trust problems.
Chronology
Inspired by 2060-io's mission to rebuild the Internet’s foundations, Hologram reimagines private messaging by addressing its deepest flaws: trust, ownership, and discovery.
Genesis
After many sessions at the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW), Fabrice Rochette and Ariel Gentile invent the concept of Verifiable Trust.
Publication of two foundational specs:
First Proofs of Concept
Development of the first Verifiable User Agent, the Hologram Messaging App, demonstrates the model’s real-world potential. Creation of Verifiable Service chatbots proves that verifiable trust works in practice.
Network Development
The Internet needs a public infrastructure for Trust Registries. We started to work, with other folks, on a prototype of a decentralized, blockchain-based Verifiable Public Registry (VPR) implementation.
Verana Emerges
Launch of the Verana Foundation, expanding the ecosystem vision around Verifiable Services and Trust Registries.
Testnet & Strategic Growth
Launch of the Verana Testnet and its integration with Hologram Messaging, introducing the first verifiable messaging app that lets users discover and trust decentralized services.
